We invite you to visit our warm and welcoming shop located in Historic Roswell, Georgia. Take a break from the fast-paced world around us and enjoy some time browsing our shop and dreaming up your next project. You’ll find room after room of yarns, fibers, canvases, bags and books. Chances are that you’ll hear some laughing and conversation coming from one of our ongoing classes. Feel free to take a peek at what our customers are working on…you may get inspired to start something new!
Our staff is always willing to answer your questions, help you choose a new project or to get you through a challenge. Our employees are here because they love knitting and needlepoint as much as you and are happy to share their tips and tricks. After a few minutes in our store, you’ll know why we’re known as the friendliest shop in town.
We offer classes for all levels of knitters and needlepointers. We are constantly adding new classes and always welcome your suggestions. Not only will you make a beautiful new piece but you’re likely to make some new friends as well! We have lots of work tables so stop in to knit with us any time or join us for our Tuesday Open Stitch nights or our Thursday Open Knit nights.
Cast-on Cottage began in 1984 and moved to its current location on Canton Street in 1995. In 2007, the shop was purchased by current owner and knitting and needlepoint enthusiast Theresa Giordanengo. At the same time, Theresa also purchased Buckhead’s Needlepoint Garden and relocated it to Cast-on Cottage.
Over the last year, Theresa has greatly expanded the shop’s yarn selections, established two new needlepoint rooms housing threads and canvases, and welcomed some wonderful new teachers and staff.
We hope to see you soon at Cast-on Cottage and Needlepoint Garden.
Theresa
