KNIT-ALONG
Friday afternoons at 2 pm

We are now hosting a Knit-Along on Friday afternoons at 2 pm at the shop. We've had a tremendous turn-out for the Traveling Woman Shawl.

We are posting the finished pieces along with their knitter on the blog and in the website photo gallery. Lou's photo (shown, right) is on the blog and it's as lovely as her!

We will be announcing a new project soon for the Knit-Along and hope that you can join us.

NEW ARRIVALS FOR KNITTERS

Malabrigo Twist is in and is beautiful as promised...100% baby merino.

Sweetness - (shown, right) a yarn for kids' wear that is a cotton and wool blend in variegated colors.

New yarn called Tequila from On Line - this is a fun summery cotton blend with a multicolor wrap. Rella used it with Blue Sky Cotton to get a chunky gauge for her shrug.

Signature Needles - These are incredibly beautiful as well as extremely nice to hold. The double points are wonderful. Yes, they are expensive but they are exceptional and in high demand. Mary wants them because they are "precise." (shown below)

Zauberball is back.

From Appalachian Baby - Organic Cotton kits ranging from Lamb's ear Cardigans, Tassel Cardigan, Blanket kit, Striped Hat Kits and a Baby Spa Robe Kit. All babies should have Spa Robes for after bath!

Here are a few highlights from our new class schedule:

Crochet Workshop with Lucille
Sunday, April 18th, 1 pm – 3 pm
Learn all the basic crochet stitches to broaden your skills.

Crocheted Capelet with Lucille
Wednesdays from 1 pm – 3 pm, beginning May 5th
We will be making the "Chanson en Crochet" featured in Wrap Style. This is a shaped capelet with bands of lacy texture. For the advanced beginner/ intermediate skill level. (shown below)

Beginner Socks with Mary
Begins Sunday, April 25th at 2 pm
Learn to knit a basic top-down sock with a heel flap and gusset using double-pointed needles. The pattern will be tailored to fit each student's yarn and foot size.

BYOP with Jane
Jane has a few openings in her popular Bring your Own Project class. Choose either the Wednesday 10 am session starting April 7th or the Thursday 10 am session starting April 8th. These classes are for the advanced beginner and up.
